Physical therapy. Physical therapists help patients regain movement skills and physical function by improving range of motion, strength and balance as well as decreasing pain, and where indicated, by teaching them to safely use canes, walkers, wheelchairs and prostheses.
Occupational therapy. Occupational therapists help patients recover their ability to safely perform activities of daily living such as eating, bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting, and where appropriate, regain more advanced independent living and housekeeping skills.
Speech-language pathology. Speech-language pathologists help patients improve cognitive function and relearn spoken language and non-oral communication skills. They also provide treatment to improve swallowing function.
Home health aides. Home health aides contribute to our patients’ health and well-being by helping them with personal care activities, such as grooming, bathing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
